Brian Huang Advisor

Brian was the bachelor of the Department of Information Management, National Central University (1989). Later, he obtained a master's degree in information management from National Chengchi University (1995), and after ten years of service in the financial industry, he obtained a master's degree in law from the National Chengchi University's Graduate Institute of Law and Interdisciplinary Studies (2009). Currently studying in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program in the Business School of National Chengchi University.

Brian joined the information department of Entie Commercial Bank in 1995, and was mainly responsible for the development and design of the bank's information system. In 2000, he transferred to foreign banks as a product manager. He worked in ABN AMRO, Citibank and HSBC in charge of various corporate-related electronic banking products, such as CitiDirect, HSBCnet, etc. After obtaining a master's degree in law, he participated in important cross-areas work such as banking law compliance, AML and internal control fields. At Citibank, he was responsible for the integration of corporate customer data in the OCBC M&A, and assisted in the establishment of the Asia-Pacific regional AML Center. Bank of America (Bank Of America) Taipei Branch Deputy General Manager of Legal Compliance, China Development Financial Holdings and Industrial Bank Chief Compliance Officer, and Cathay United Bank Chief Compliance Officer, led the team to have outstanding achievements in legal compliance and money laundering prevention and control. Competent authorities are well satisfied of it. Currently, he is also the chairman of the Institute of Internal Audit of Taiwan, Republic of China, actively cooperating with the American headoffice and other countries and assisting the professional development of internal auditors. Brian has been invited to teach courses on legal compliance, financial technology, and money laundering prevention at the TABF and many universities or Seminars.

Brian's work experience covers the product service needs of the banking industry from start-ups to large corporate customers, and is fully involved in legal compliance and fintech innovation management. Joined the Darwin team in 2022 and is currently responsible for providing evaluation opinions on financial technology and related cases.
